It really was nauseating shite being churned out by the media which is infested with middle class luvvie gooners.

It led to a generation of Arsenal fans who honestly believe they have "a way of doing things" and feel entitled to wonderful football as if the club had no history before 2002, as if George Graham didn't exist and as if we've forgotten how they 1-0'd their way to a double in 1998 off the back of the defence george graham built.
Not *really* true that, is it

That team was a fantastic one, fair play. They played their part in making the following season so memorable.

Oh is it not?

I seem to remember them going on a 10 game winning streak at the end of the season and about 7 of the games finished 1-0.

A great side, no doubt - but they were smash and grab masters.

Arsenal are so obsessed with not getting their pants pulled down over transfer fees they're in danger of become wall flowers standing around whilst everyone else is taking part.
Spot on.

Look around you, Arsenal. It's the game now. Particularly this summer. Either react to it, or risk dropping your standards.

Or do things 'the right way' . Don't complain if you're not willing to spend the money you have though

Yep....

That game at Old Trafford...Keane, Giggs, Pallister all out with injuries...Scholes, Becks, Butt and Cole playing with injuries....John Curtis man marking Overmars ffs

Still could only manage a 1-0, with Sheringham and Cole missing sitters

It's bullshit. This is the club that charges fans a £#%&!ing fortune for season tickets, yet make a stand on 'crazy' transfer fees. It's no different to fergie's no value. Wenger's covering for his employers who want to invest as little as possible into the team because they want the income for other things. The club's policy isn't going to change until the fans stop paying the money or they finish out the top 4.

Exactly. No other top boss would put up with it, which is why they stick with him and he delivers just enough with CL qualification to give a bit of hope.
