well, yeah. but liverpool weren't great. they will wonder how they lost. being shit in the final third. two jammy deflected goals and one from a player who should have been sent off. otherwise, it was £#%&!ing up 5 v 2, etc.

for a great game, the quality of football was dire.

£#%&!ing hell.

My Dad brought me to my first match in 1976 when I was 6 years old.

Today's match was Wee Norms 16th birthday present. He's obsessed with United because of me and my Da and watches all the youth games online and has been on to me about Amad for about 3 years now.

When Amad scored the winner he hugged me harder than he's ever done while crying his eyes out.

What a £#%&!ing day.

As someone said earlier, as supporters we deserved that after the shit we've been served up this season. Most exciting game in years once we got past 87 minutes

Liking the draw. Not just Coventry but feel Chelsea, as bad as they've been, could snatch a result against City, and I'd feel much more confident facing them in the final.

I hear this. City have struggled with Chelsea this season, who knows - could be a style thing. I think Chelsea have more than a punchers chance.

Correct Jembo.

If it wasn’t for our gormless, lacklustre tracking tracking back for their first and absolute flukes, + ref, they were nowhere near.

Always an entertaining game, though

It's moment like those - and the way the game ended - that makes everything else worth it. Nothing else in life gives you the intensity of those moments quite like Manchester United.

Martinez and Cas might’ve stopped them strolling through the mid/defence

Mention for Onana: harsh to fault him for any of the goals (some did) but deffo looking a lot better, the past few outings

Superb mate. A match to say ‘you were there’.

Got me thinking about how hard it’s been recently to be a young United fan in greater Manchester with all city’s robotic dominance . But then moments like that create the next generation of United fans and provide much needed justification to those that have chosen the right path. Reckon still 3 or 4 United tops to every 1 city top out in the parks and football pitches north side.

Incidentally, the motto of the city of Liverpool is "Deus Nobis Haec Otia Fecit", which they translate as "God has granted us this ease".
What it actually means is "God has granted us this time off work"
