Football FC United

Seem to have hit the kids this season after a couple of promotions... given the resources available I think they should be at the top of the table.

Any chance of Margy being sacked?

Bigger jump in quality this time from everything I have heard. Not surprising in the slightest.

Hitting kids? So much for being a family club eh?

Seriously bedders... this isn't a wum. Stuck £20 into the kitty when they set up - I'm a shareholder or whatever these days.

Still think his performances aren't really up to scratch.

To be honest they are still doing well from what I'm told. By no means the top payers in that league, lost a few players to clubs higher up the leagues but still financially stable and safe in mid table.

You gave £20 3 years ago so consider yourself a shareholder.

Very good.

About you? No one. The good thing about FC is that they don't have OOT fools like you pretending they support them.

In case it's not a wum Ed and you are genuinely interested then FC's playing budget this year was amongst the bottom 3 at the start of the season.

They are batting way above their average this season. The only way Margy will be leaving is if a higher placed club sees what job he is doing on such a shoestring budget and make him an offer he can't refuse.

Carlos - the tongue was firmly in the cheek however I do have a vote and was prepared to put my hand in my pocket for the cause.

I had kind of anticipated an AFC Wimbledon rise up the tables (year on year promotion haven't they?) and they're not far from the equivalent of the conference but this season FC are mid-table. Surely the resources available make them bigger than the rest of the clubs at that level?

Unless you renewed your membership this season, I'm afriad you don't have a vote.

Oh and...

i) They never anticipated year on year promotions

ii) As the withered hand states, in reality their day-to-day resources are pretty small in comparison with a number of other clubs in that league. Until they leave Gigg Lane, this will always likely be the case...

apparently, and i dont want to cause a storm, i have only heard from others.

Their manager did plane signs and their number 9 and 7 did airplanes when they equalized...

i didnt see it (Stood at the back, looking cool) but the crowd at the front were going mad.

apparently the police went in their dressing room for a word.

Someone got on a players Facebook and he had M***** 58 was Brilliant...

All hearsay and cant confirm it all.

But its what i heard.
