Always thought munich would have been maybe most pre war pro nazis, but looks like wasnt:

lthough Hitler's political career began in Munich, in the elections of 1928 to November 1932 the NSDAP won a higher share of the vote in Protestant than in Catholic Germany. In the Catholic Rhineland and Bavaria (apart from Protestant Franconia) it polled disproportionately badly. In fact in July 1932 the Nazi share of the vote was almost twice as high in Protestant as in Catholic areas. The inability, of Nazis to attract the Catholic vote was demonstrated by the stable support for the Catholic Centre Party, which regularly gained between 11.8 and 12.5 per cent between 1928, and November 1932; and by that of its sister confessional party, the Bavarian People's Party (BVP), which stayed firm at around 3 per cent in those same elections.

Happy to continue with war puns throughout the 90

Out of respect to Finners I’m not going to make the joke I was going to make.

It’s taking a lot out of me tbh.

Doesn’t surprise me in the slightest. Staunch, hard working, well structured marches, attractive hats, nicely decorated streets with plenty of flags and bunting, a sense of duty at the polls versus lying in the house all day, spoofing disability and popping out kids lie a T-shirt gun at an American sporting event.

Tbf a lot of the Catholics stayed away because early 30’s Adolf wasn’t anti-Semitic enough hence Kristallknack as they marketed it in Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia

Brilliant. Made it look so simple.

Bayern dominate for 20 minutes, then Real Madrid do what Real Madrid do.

I’d give away a kidney to get Vinicius Jr to sign for United. Fantastic player.
