I didn't know he had it in him.
Think I’m right in saying he’s played as an attacking midfielder most of his time in the kids?

He looked like a solid all round midfielder tonight, who can do a bit of everything. I like his edge as well, very aggressive, not afraid to leave a little on someone but knows the line.

He needs to show more in the games when Utd are on top, expected to win, with more of the ball, easy to see his effectiveness in a more combative role.

He's smart. Cute. That showed tonight when most others were losing their heads.

Absolutely, impressive composure, trusted his ability and physical gifts when pressed or under pressure. I especially liked how he started to expand his passing range as his confidence grew.

The potential is there for him to be a strong box to box midfielder as he matures. It really stands out though that Utd lack a balanced midfield trio, Fred deeper is not really his role, Matic doesn't have the ambition in his passing or legs to play as the deepest midfielder in a team who wants to attack, Herrera is just a little average in too many areas and Pogba has no real orthodox position that doesn't compromise someone else.

Haven’t really rated him until tonight
Showed composure, discipline and physicality but I really thought he lacked the class required

Tonight however he faced Barca’s midfield and was the best midfielder on the pitch

Reminds me a bit of Schweinsteiger in his prime with that straight back style and very clean touch and manipulation of the ball

To think, Pogba probably earns six times The Scottish Player’s wage.
