And more of the same next round for us, another away tie against "giant killers".

It's probably just as well Riccers because the minute we play anyone remotely decent we'll be out on our arses.

you make it sound like we play midfielders. he's there on his own. the closest thing he had to a partner was dalot.

Mainoo was superb and garnacho very decent. Other than that, thought we were poor. Rashford was an embarrassment. Thought Hoijlund was pretty awful too.

All in all though, we’re through and it was a decent enough away. Thought we might have used the match as a bit of a confidence builder but hay ho.

Big Jim needs to sink his teeth in. Hopefully we can manage a decent loan in. Then the summer is where it properly begins
Tonight proves he badly needs an experienced striker to learn from, wonder if getting Martial off the bill to help fund Guirassy is an option.

Hojlund is looking rough but it’s 100% on the club for thinking it was a good idea to sign him and make him the main striker from the off.

He needed a Cavani type to share his minutes with. Who that is, I don’t know.

What we’re seeing now is mismanagement imo. His confidence must have taken a bit of a hit in his time with us.

I see we're not afforded the luxury of a routine win these days.

Was entertaining enough but our finishing remains a huge problem. Hojlund's confidence is going to be hammered if we don't make a signing to take the pressure off. He's starting to look lost on the pitch. Pity some of out more experienced players can't step up to help. State of Rashford last night. Against Wigan as well. He's broken.

And this.

So much better with some excellent service from the right too. If we can now get someone who can provide on the left then who knows…

I was furious when The Scottish Player nicked the pass from his feet then completely £#%&!ed up the shot.
