torres wasnt prolific in la liga but was scoring lots for liverpool.

madrid are more reliant on ronaldo then we are. a total mess of a club. raul still playing, benzema not himself and kaka just slightly above average, they arent a 'team'

I don't know whether its just that or smaller teams would prefer losing 5-3 rather than 1-0 which is actually good. certainly the league as a whole is more attack oriented than premier league.

what's strange is we say defence is poor and all that, but we seem impotent when we play spanish sides.

look at villareal ffs. they regularly ship goals in la liga, they always did and they will always do. but when we played them, let alone goals we didn't even create chances.

It's a myth Spanish teams cannot defend.

Ibrahimovic is the best striker in world football.
