I had an offer for a ticket for the semi final against Arsenal in 2004 at Villa Park but it clashed with a wedding of a friend. He told me not to worry and go along to it, saying I'd still make it to the reception (which I would have tbf) but I wanted to be there with him being a mate and everything. So I went to the wedding, and missed us beat Arsenal 1-0.

Missed the Villa Park semi final replay in 99, one of only about 5 games home and away I missed all that season. I was skint having just paid for Juve away and I'd just started seeing my ex and we were going to see The Roots at the Uni on the Things Fall Apart tour...it just felt like one game too many at the time. Couldn't believe what I was missing as news came filtering through.

Also missed Moscow...just no chance from a financial POV.

I left Becks equaliser at 1-2 in the treble season and never left early again.

The game against the verm was £#%&!ing epic.

Tbf he may not have been quite the same player if he hadn't gone to Leeds where he could carry on with relatively little pressure for a bit longer developing his game. Culminating in the form preceding and during the World Cup which led to him becoming a United player.

Wesley Brown's injuries for me too.

That and Barca in 2008 were just inside the ground.

I leave games early on purpose now when we need a goal. Newcastle on Boxing Day was my latest scalp.

Missed pretty much the entire treble season as I was working and studying abroad. Not a 'regret' as such, but I was a bit annoyed they couldn't have waited a year.

Oh, I did see one game - the 8-1 at Forest

I was staying with a Forest supporting Uni mate. Had to meet him and his dad after the game. Wearing my white United shirt. With Keane on the back. We had tea at his house....:tumbleweed:
