Vidic is world class. Would walk into any team as I suspect Rio would walk into many. Carrick is at the very top of his game right now. |

When you consider his injury record and his conditioning on returning from injury it would be a no brainer! |

re vidic and rio, i agree with your points, that's a red's opinion but i don't think it would be the opinion of everyone - and carrick backs this up: for years i've said how effective carrick is and the job he does for united. most other team's fans (and a lot of ours) just don't see it. now, all of a sudden the penny's dropped (probably in part due to G.Nev's recent analysis on him). what i'm saying is he's typical of what we're talking about - he's world class to US, which to me is more important than what other teams / FIFA team of the year panel think of our lot |

No, I couldn't bear to see him do well at City. He is world class I'd say, because he can really take a game by the scruff of the neck sometimes. Plus if he did go we'd have to find someone with that money to replace him with. I don't think you could find a Rooney type anywhere for £50m.

That's the level of player he's in for me. £50m would probably buy you Neymar. As for Rooney + DDG for Ronaldo. Yes. In an instant. I'd even chuck in Rio if they wanted him. |
