Default Federico Macheda set to move in January, according to agent

Quote:
Federico Macheda's agent says the striker will leave Manchester United when the transfer window reopens but is unlikely to return to Italy.
Competition for attacking places at Old Trafford is so fierce that Macheda has found himself a long way down the pecking order this season, with the likes of Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez and Danny Welbeck blocking his route to the first team.
He has been loaned out to Sampdoria and Queens Park Rangers at the halfway point of the previous two seasons, and agent Giovanni Bia admits he will probably move on once again this January.
Bia told tuttomercatoweb.com: "Federico at this time is not finding space, and so it is clear that in January he will go away.
"But I don't think he'll be back again in Italy because usually in January clubs are looking for players that are already ready, unless there are teams with a quiet standing which want to do long-term projects with him."
Macheda has been at Manchester United since making the move to England as a 16-year-old in 2007.

Had to happen. Should have left 12 months ago for the good of his career. He just turned 21 in August so still has a good chance of making a career for himself but he needs to get out and play games.

A few other of the reserve players are in the same stage, Tunnicliffe, Brady and Petrucci stand out.

Macheda will always be part of Utd folklore though, it does not matter how little he does for the rest of his career.

Thanks for everything Kiko.

We ruined him. At least the boy can leave with his head held high, knowing he contributed more to our club than our record signing mr flicks ever did and he was bundled out of the club on deadline day this summer.

2 actually. And both came as winners in the business end of the season.

Berbatov didn't score 1 winner in the business end of the season for 4 years.

The 'business end' ffs. Don't the other 30 odd games count towards the title then?

one hit off him, the first was good though. After that he was atrocious, he couldn't control a ball if it was made of magnets and he was wearing a boot made of magnets and nobody else was within a 4 square miles of him on a perfectly clear day.

He slipped as he hit the first one too. £#%&!ing clown. Plus it made Martin Tyler's voice squeal and that's never good. Awful goal. I wish it had gone wide.

He says the same thing every year, off he toddles, fails miserably to get any football before returning and doing £#%&! all in pre-season. He's missed far too much competitive playing time in the last 3 years.
