Carrick was affected by nerves imo which can happen to him. His passing became off.

I've gone for Rafael he had a good game but he also shown great bottle. When a few players were clearly getting nervous he didn't and led by example.

Am interested as to why Rooney has a vote - I thought he was pretty much dogshit and I'm not an out and out hater.

can't give it to valencia. he got the ball a lot (what with us not having a left wing... can't believe blackburn struggled so much down their left). and most of what he did was "50/50" - ie: belt it in and see what happens. so I'll given him runner-up, with fabio the midfielder in third. de gea wins for theatricality.
