Default What would have enraged the forum in days gone by?

I reckon the on-off Whiteside sale back in 87/88(?) would have had Fred frothing at the mouth.

Hughes to Barca and the departure of Kanchelskis would've been brutal.

Losing the title in '95 would've caused an apocalypse as well.

If we had beaten City 100-0 on that day, we were still down, because of results elsewhere. The game was irrelavent

Summer 1995.

Hughes, Kanchelskis and Ince leaving.

I genuinely thought Fergie had lost his mind.

Sparky was my hero (oh where were you foresight?) could never understand how he could go there, remember thinking 'ah he'll always be a red though'

Ince... Meh, I was just glad he went abroad, I was more gutted when/how he came back to these shores for obvious reasons

I still remember my dad telling me that Sparky had gone. I didn't believe him; ran downstairs and turned on teletext and there it was... absolutely gutting.

Stam's departure would have rattled a few on here - me included!
