The collapse of the Soviet Union would have left a few of you pretty inconsolable.

The arse seeing after the final few games of the 92 season would've been a wonder to behold. Except dunk of course. He'd probably argue that winning the League Cup made it a successful season "£#%&! the League, it's an over bloated competition" etc etc. JC would assure us that United would "come back stronger next year"

The "Cantona's retired!" thread would be the most depressing thread in the history of the internet.

I'd have spent the whole 97/98 and a good chunk of the 99 season calling Sheringham "a shit, average @#%&! who can £#%&! off back to Spurs" etc.

My contribution to the "My wife's a @#%&!" thread in 92 would have been many - silly cow chose May 2nd 92 as our wedding day. United at home to Spursw, last day of the Stretty & even at Easter looked like a win then could win us the title.
Told her if I get tickets, I'm going. Wedding was in the morning so i could have made it in time.

I can imagine how you would have reacted to Arsenal dicking us 3-0 - not once but TWICE - early on in the 1998/99 season, too
