Not going to happen unless he goes on a free transfer, though I should imagine the suits will want that to cull the wage bill

It does say

Sunderland and Southampton are also monitoring the England international, who is free to leave Old Trafford after falling down the pecking order recently.

Young's current contract expires in the summer of 2016, and there is little chance of a new deal being offered.

Nobody will match his wages so he'll refuse a move and run his contract down on loan

He's been a diabolical signing made slightly less bad by the arrival of Fellaini.

What? Mufc couldn't compete with the oil clubs because of ffp?

We could, fergie just had this thing where he thought that he and he alone could polish turds and make them into diamonds. He was utterly and diabolically wrong. The amount of money we spent an absolute guff during fergie's latter years is eye watering.

This wasn't a cheap punt though. We paid £18m for him and stuck him on wages of approx. £120k per week.

Are you seriously suggesting we couldn't have got better value for that outlay elsewhere?

The fact is, Ferguson got increasingly lazy in his transfer dealings, opting for mediocre British players instead of scouting abroad. The @#%&! lumbered us with so much endless shit, and then stuck Moyes in charge of it all.

Thank £#%&! for Louis Van Gaal and the great cull of 2014.
