Default United 93 is on Sky Movies at 8pm all this week.

If you haven't seen it, do, I think it was easily the best film of last year.

United 93 watched in the cinema was damn good.

I felt myself half bracing up as the plane went down!

I thought the direction was brilliant, so taught and tense, with a genuine sense of the confusion and desperation that day. The acting was also outstanding with the use of lesser names and at times "real people" such as actual Air Traffic Controllers adding an incredible reality to it. Superb stuff.

Brilliant film, "powerful" is a way to describe it. Imagine the fear them folk were going through?

Bedders have you seen The Last King of Scotland?

Nope, definitely want to. I think Forest Whitaker is criminally underused in films.

Flight 93 was a cheap film that went pretty much straight to video. United 93 was oscar nominated.

Watched a downloaded copy yesterday, very good film (See my thread on it).

It's out on DVD over the next few days isn't it? (Or today?)

You rent DVD's don't you so get it rented.

Agreed on Forest Whitaker.

Koppas, is it hard to go onto Play.com and distinguish between the 2?

Would you like us to get a link to Play.com for you and the respective films?

Do you want us to make you a drink?

Not bad but I'd guessed the ending after about 5 minutes

That's why Dubya launched the war on tourism. All those baggage checks, biometric passports and taking your shoes off, it's too much of a pain visiting the US now.
