When Madrid call you, you have to listen although in this case it doesn’t depend on me. I have just signed a long contract at Tottenham and I’m very happy there. When you want a player you have to talk to the club that player belongs to and it would be exactly the same. We are talking about a club that 100 per cent of coaches dream of managing one day. But I am very happy at Tottenham because they let me work and we are growing together as a group. Now I want to focus on planning the next season and keep a distance from everything that is being talked about.

Basically Spurs signed him to a new contract so Real have to pay them mucho compo. Poch knows.

Gives them an in for luring Kane over next season.

Anyone else think Ramos and co would eat him for breakfast? Pretty beta for an Argie.

They've appointed Lopetegui. On the day before the World Cup started, even though he was Spain manager at the time. Did you really miss that?

Thumbs down

What a coward. Any @#%&! could have won what he did at Madrid with that midfield of Casemiro, Kroos and Modric, with Ronnie up front.

Bald @#%&!.

I watched that game, was in Spain at the time... they were gash, Rayo were 2-1 up before they were down to nine men.
