You could argue that rashford is ‘second phase’ because Pickford gets a touch on the ball. What’s the difference between a save that parries it back to Antonio and a save that doesn’t quite stop Rashford.

They don’t really know and the more they try to create these sort of sub-laws, the more confusion it creates.
