Why doesn't someone tell him to STFU? No one needs this, no one wants it. All about the £#%&!ing money - these @#%&!s won't be happy until the pyramid of the game goes bust and it becomes a closed shop with no promotion and relegation.

How the Premier League allow these £#%&!ers to pass the fit and proper owners test beggars belief.

As a side note, half the premier league sides have American owners/backers now. That isn't good

They've been encouraging foreign investment along with our Government. It's what they want.

Gary Neville has been going on a bout this for a while and it is concerning.

They ( The american owners ) probably have enough clout within the Premier league now to start at least agitating to change the rules to a more US. model ie no more relegation / promotion - play offs to decide "championships", more and more overseas games - not to mention the Super League etc etc -

Without being a drama queen if left unchecked they will destroy the game as we know it

Yep - you sense that it's coming.

Having seen at least 2 clubs taken over by figures linked to murderous regimes.. it’s probably safe to say that there isn’t much of a test. Yep

it's all about the tv rights. Don't let games about all stars fool you....these americans are in it and waiting for some kind of premier league streaming rights so they can make the current tv deals look like chicken feed.

Game is being eroded decade by decade. Successive generations brought up with it and know no different. Even Ned will be saying it was better in his day.

English football sort of reaps what it sows now.

German club supporters would have all round mutiny if a Yank influx occurred, English clubs fans don’t (by and large) see past the next game. Ours can’t stop feeding the owners.

Isn’t there an american owner looking to buy Everton. 14 of them in and they can make their own rules so yeah, relegation be gone etc

And then they'll try and move to a closed shop like the NFL is - no new owners unless the rest of the owners approve.

US owners won’t leave football in a better state than they found it…of that I’m sure.
