What's more worrying in that report is the fact that he's not renewed his contract yet. He's only got just over a year left.

There'll be a few renewing in the Summer IMO, he's one of them. Rio and probably Wes are the others.

Brilliant.

One of the most improved players we've had imo. From his first 6 months I never thought he would become what he has. It was weird 'cos at Monaco he was what he is now, tough, good at defending and attacking etc then suddenly he looked like a different player and didn't see tough or good at defending or attacking!

Now he is one of our toughest players, and he is a big part of how we play and our success with this team. If we get a right back of similar stature we'll have some free flowing team, that's for sure.

You could say the same with Vidic, didn't look very good. He's turned out the perfect partner for Rio though. We have a world class defence imo. Brown has improved at right back a lot over recent months.

I was with you on that too. Always a big fan and said he should be given time. Also, the siddy game he got slaughtered for was, as I said at the time, far more down to a disgusting performance from Goldfish than Paddy.

evra's a great player - best lb in the premiership this season imo - and has a great attitude but his quality is exaggerated on here at times. he was tactically a bit loose on sunday at times and he can be a bit tackle-happy at times, jumping in when he would be better off staying on his feet.

nb none of the above says he's not a great player
