I don't think he's been fit since he has come back into the team from the initial injury.

Moyes has been forced to bring him back early due to the lack of alternatives.

Which IMHO has made the situation worse for him as he's trying hard to cover lesser midfielders impacting on his form while not 100%.

Fully agree. He's not been the same since he returned. Needs a proper rest but how can he

Looked a lot less of a twist to the ligament than Neymar, and he's out for a month.

didn't look that bad to me tbh. worrying thing for me was carrick couldn't even be arsed to try and play through it. It was like "ooh that hurt, right get me off this pitch, i can't be arsed".

I don't agree, his jaw wobbled a bit but that's normal.

Anyway I should hope we took him off because we need him in more important games and didn't want to risk aggravating it.
