Grimson

Default How many throw-ins do you reckon you've taken?

I've taken a few during kickarounds but only one in a proper game.

Thousands. Part and parcel of being a mind bogglingly average full back.

Ditto

You want to see the amount of corners I earned from being a mind boggling average crosser of the ball.

very few I was always the one they threw it to, to back head it into the box unless it was in our own half.

On another note I might be making a comeback. I will keep you all posted

mr. grimson, at what point did you start to ponder this question? were you struggling to sleep and you drifted into fantasy where you in a cup final with score at 0-0. you raced out of your box to take a throw, a long throw to your midfield play maker, who inturn hit a rifeling shot against the bar only for your centre forward to head home the rebound? Did you walk off the pitch surrounded by your team mates where you casually announced it was the first ever throw in you've taken?

or summat else?

Funny you should bring this up grimson, I was practising mine in the garden this morning.

Can thrown it about 23 yards, but I need to work on my trajectory.

Quite a few in my youth. I was a bit like a young Rory Delap. Scored a few direct from throw-ins as well. Luckily nobody involved with our matches knew the rules of the game properly.

Took one once since leaving school, a few months back for a certain supporters team, it was given as a foul throw and a certain team captain saw his arse at me. He apologised after though
