Keane was a God to me growing up. I had various players whod be my “favourite” for a while but he was just a king to me. Still is tbh.
I also loved Giggs but that love has waned in recent years, admittedly. Always found AK’s love for Maguire quite sweet tbh. You can tell he’s a really big fan. |

Norman was the first player I fell in love with as he scored the winner in the first Cup final I ver went to. As much as I loved him, slowly Robbo overtook him and I had Bryan Robson everything, no.7 on my shirt, shin pads, NB boots, bedroom covered in his posters and I was at the cliff / Littleton Road every day of the summer holidays. I never thought I could ever love another player, but then, along came Eric. I've never so much as flirted with another player since.
