Tough one. I wouldn't throw Carrick straight back in for this game. Januzaj and Herrera should start imo

Time to see if Mata can be an effective substitute

Fellaini will deservedly start to combat the power of Yaya Toure. Based on fitness, there's a big decision to be made on whether Smalling stays in or Jones comes back, too.

Will be interesting to see who gets dropped for Rooney. Will we drop Mata and keep Januzaj and Di Maria on the flanks, or will we drop Januzaj and push Di Maria into central midfield? We could also drop both Januzaj and Mata and play a front three of Rooney, Van Persie and Falcao.

Van Gaal and Giggs got it pretty much right against Chelsea, so I'm fully confident they'll pick the right team for City. Great to have a manager who can excite you with potential team selections. It's so refreshing compared to the dire turd Moyes and Fergie served up over the last few years.

possibly the same team, in the same shape

there's an imblance with no right foot wide right but as long as januzaj works like he did yesterday i'm confident rafael can do some damage running past him anyway, so...

would be tempted to get smalling the £#%&! out of there while he's ahead obviously
