Here's one for you. Since Bilbao game United had been tracking Herrera (Woodward confirmed this during his UWS interview) Moyes phoned Graham Hunter before the deadline last summer (on the final day), asking his opinion on the player.

£#%&! the two years worth of scouting reports, ask the slaphead from the La Liga bar. And he wondered why so much information got out during his time at United.
