for utd you mean? or the premiership?

either way playing once every 2 weeks isnt good enough to win either accolade imo

he certainly is playing well when he plays tho

Both really and you may well be right that his only playing once a week, not every two might not be enough. Playing as he is though at 35 though is amazing really.

Wouldn't go that far Bedders, being playing well of late though. After a sluggish start I think Vidic must surely be Utd's player of the season to date.

i dont think they factor in age into player of the year awards.

gerrard has been the best player in the premiership this season

He's playing well at the moment but he is picked sporadically.....

Also its only January.

I was reading an article yesterday that stated that Frank Lampard has been head and shoulders above every other player in the PL this season and is the only reason Chelsea are still in the hunt, the journalist who wrote pointed at teh supposed fee for Kaka and said that if Kaka is worth £100m, then Frankie's consistency and overall excellence makes him a far more expensive proposition.

Now, I can't confess to watching Chelsea on too many occasions this season, but on the odd occasion I have he has been easily recognisable by his absence, so I'm £#%&!ed if I know what he's on about.

he's had a good month or two but to say player of the season or rarely had a bad game this year is just not true.

in fact he really struggled for form early on and its only in the last few games he has shone through in that central role

still a fabulous player though
