It seems fairly obvious that we won't be signing any more midfielders. Blind has been purchased very late in the transfer window as our first-choice target (Vidal) hasn't been signed. The fact Blind is coming on the promise of being used as a first-choice midfielder confirms it.

It's a repeat of last summer when we chased Fabregas, Khedira, Modric and De Rossi for months before signing bog brush on Deadline Day. Woodward is a useless £#%&!ing #@&%!, and needs a bullet between the eyes.

In a 433, he'd play a differerent position to Vidal, or strootman. He's more a replacement for carrick.
