We’re still a squad of players that is a mish mash of players from different managers and styles of play

The good news is we can now compete with City on the pitch
Beat them earlier this year at OT and probably should have taken that match into extra time yesterday and out xG’d City in both games despite them clearly being a better team
This with a team with obvious clear weaknesses in it that can easily be improved

Replace Dave with a top modern keeper, Eriksen with a younger more mobile player and sign an actual centre forward because we’ve done all this without one this season
Get those 3 signings right and we’ll make huge progress next season
goals is what we need, you're right.

that's been the big takeaway from the season for me. The lack of goals. 13 goals in the last 10 games of the season and 4 of them came in one game against Chelsea. That's nowhere near good enough.

He’s the one player who never hides. Even when he’s playing terrible, he gives 100%. Not exactly cowardly behaviour.

Watch him turn up in the games against the big boys

The main reason for the lack of goals is the lack of an actual centre forward nevermind a top class one all season

However the lack of goals is about more than our forwards
Our inability to dominate opponents and apply consistent pressure to the opposition defence is a huge part of that as well

Having a keeper who can comfortably play out from back will help us dominate matches and control games
Also having a keeper who can come off his line to dominate will allow our defence to play 10 yards higher up the pitch which in turn will allow us to press the opposition high up the pitch especially if we replace Eriksen with a younger more mobile player

We need to purge all weakness from our team

From memory, he was one of the best players in the pitch when we beat Liverpool at old Trafford.

Didn't say he was a bad player, I said he goes missing for large parts of big games. Least of our problems though.

It's not about desire or commitment Fred and Bruno have that in spades...because of their squad they are fresh as daisies... and they all know their role.

Bit like Kane at Spurs trying to do too much.

Guardiola and his bum chums in the hierarchy have been building that squad for 7 years with unlimited funds and carte blanche to get rid of any player he wants.

Erik's good, but he's not a miracle worker.

7 years vs 10 months. It’s not as big or as bad as people make out. Anyone judging otherwise is a #@&%!head.

Bruno and Rashers are anything but cowardly

Rashers chasing back and tackling Rhodri an example.

Bruno’s problem is he tries to take all the responsibility on by himself which usually leads to him trying too hard.

If United can get Quatar, then the cITY fans will be the 1st set of oppossing fans winging about how unfair they find it, when every top-class player would suddenly want to join United again & talking of Quatar I just wish he would hurry-up & hand over that 6 Billion( he can have a moan about having to overpay in 2028 after
ETH has guided United to their 3rd Treble in 5 years, if he wants), & tell The Glazers to go 4th & multiply & then United can simply restore there right to be debt-free once again!

Not only that, go on wikipedia and take a look at any given season over the last 6 years at the amount of player churn going in and out of their club every year. It's absolutely staggering. This season alone they transferred out 27 players 23 of which were from their academy or the 'city football group'. They're farming players on a £#%&!ing industrial scale.

They do this every year, last season they transferred out 28 players, season before that it was 26. That's absolutely £#%&!ing unreal. And the vast majority of these players are being sold. Not released or coming to the end of their contract - they're managing somehow flog dozens and dozens of academy kids who've not been anywhere near a first team all for 'undisclosed' fees.

If you want a comparison, last season United transferred out 14 players, this season 16 players. It's £#%&!ing obscene.

It's industrial level cheating, buying young players so other teams can't have them. However many teams that are all part of city £#%&!ing group.

Just £#%&!ing wrong.

But, the air conditioning is nice and the malls are clean so £#%&! it.

They sold a keeper who had not one single first team appearance to Southampton last year for £12 million.

We loaned some players to Antwerp once I don't remember anybody complaining, what's the difference? Maybe instead of going bust the likes of Bury and Macclesfield should buy 14 clubs in multiple continents so they can hit their quarterly KPI's while off-setting any financial shortfalls through a sovereign wealth fund.

Bellers will be on to point out we signed Alex Notman for a pittance then sold him for £250k 4 years later. Or ‘Jono’ Greening signed for £100k, on the bench for a CL final before being sold for £1.25m etc. because that’s exactly the same.
