Actually, Berbatov gave Nani loads more shit than Rooney, but I don't think it's a coincidence that Nani's best form occurred around this time either. Like him or not, players play better around Berbatov because he understands the game so well.

I am fully cognisant of our paucity in quality compared to that mob. Howver, I am concerned with the lack of tactical nous displayed by our manager - and like other stressful and challenging professions like submarine captains and the US president, confidence in the manager is supported in great part by the belief that he knows what to do when others do not. All managers have feet of clay, but the great ones have very good plaster to cover up their clayish feet and their mistakes are fewer and far in between...if the team should realise that their manager is not half as clued in as his confident PR demeanour represents, the team wll suffer...
