No quarter final replays now pal.

Course he meant it if he didn't the first thing he would have done is apologise - anyone would - his reaction to Zlatan in the box prior to corner was one of like Mings thought it was all tit for tat - a sly smirk and nod at Zlatan - course he meant it

Anyone who suggests that stamp was not deliberate has an agenda. That is all.

MOTD was a joke, the thing with Surman's first yellow, his challenge was nothing like Shaw's, Shaw had one foot on the ground throughout and was in front of the player, Surman was a full on slide from the side that made sure he cleaned Shaw out.

Then we had Danny Murphy and his Mings didn't mean it balls, the fact that he absolutely skittled Rooney with very little on the ball wasn't mentioned at all and the worst was in the rush to hammer home the injustice point, they didn't even show St Harry Arter's absolutely nailed on any other game second yellow that Friend shit out of later in the game when he was about 10 seconds late on Pogba, even though he'd already been warned about a second yellow for dissent after spending the whole first half moaning about £#%&!ing everything.

overall, and all moaning aside, bournemouth came to take us on physically and got wired into us from the start. they get plenty of credit out of that match tbh...

friend was crap, but he sent one of them off, gave us a soft penalty, and let us give them some back as well.

i remember when most football matches had some of the stuff we saw yesterday going on

just a pity we didn't have enough quality in our finishing to punish them, but hey ho. we didn't deserve more than a point on that basis.

Based on some of the reaction, he appears to have judged the public spot on.

They're actually debating whether he meant it or not, I suspect he can't believe his luck. Personally I think the debate should be about just how much of a psychopath he must be to try and stamp on somebody's head, and to what extent Zlat was justified.

He should get a very long ban. And if he was wearing a red shirt, that's exactly what 99% of the media would be calling for.

People make too much of that, he starts every game as our lone striker, of course hes going to be our top scorer. Its not too dissimilar to the late Ruud problem, the goals aren't spread and therefore we're relatively easy to defend against.

Rudd problem? Injuries to Ole one year , Saha , always hurt , Scholes the next , a rusting midfield and David F Bellion and a misplaced Forlan along with a very young Ronaldo was the issue. Rooney coming in saw Scholes numbers drop and no one stepped up from all the dross we signed.

He needs a rest too. He might have missed Chelsea anyway.

It's not the way we would have wanted it, but hopefully he'll come back fresher.

c4 news headlines last night showed the stamp followed by the elbow, with kathy newman asking "was this? revenge for this?" - presented as if the stamp was retaliation

Late Ruud problem. In his final year he was still banging them in but in the games that we switched him out for Saha we looked far more threatening.
