If he goes at the end of this season it will be about right to ship him out and it looks like the club are getting things right by not hanging on to players too long.

shit himself rather criminally in the months after the first barca final, but played like a gentleman once he got over it. moyes £#%&!ing him about last season shouldn't diminish that.

Fantastic player for us.

Carrick and Scholes were a lightweight pairing, but it didn't matter because we had so much of the ball.

It's a shame for Manchester United though. Nani and Anderson were supposed to replace Giggs and Scholes, but their entire United careers have barely outlasted them.

Yeah he was shite for a good 18 months. Not the sort of player who will drag you out of the shit when you're playing badly, but he's had some good seasons with us.

Good time to move him on.
