Brown - Rio - Evans - Evra

Valencia - Fletcher - Scholes - Giggs

Rooney - Diouf


Want to see Rooney playing off a pacey CF. In the absence of a young Andy Cole, Diouf will have to do for now.

Carrick and Anderson don't warrant a place in the team at present.

Rafael good going forward, but a liability. Our defence is shakey enough without him.

btw, i'd be delighted to see giggs brought back into the middle now park is fit. the midfield desperately needs somebody with the ability to move the ball forward with intelligence but scholes sits too deep these days and anderson is, well, crap. with options so thin giggs is easily the best option, and should play centrally against city. a front six something like:

fletcher - scholes
valencia - giggs - park
rooney

would give us control and a cutting edge. imo.
