VDV's football brain is superb, he knows it all. Didn't look the same player at Madrid whenever I saw him, or at International level, but then he's not a left winger where they all shunt him out to is he.

At the risk of going over old ground, it still beggars belief that him and Sneijder were sat twiddling their thumbs while we were thrashing out a deal for Ronaldo. £60m plus those two>£80m
