everton are £#%&!ing dreadful team. All workman-like and essentially defensive and boring.

I'd hate moyes to get anywhere near our club.

Harsh on Moyes that.

He has done an excellent job at Everton. He has formed a team that competes very well in the Premier League, considering the budget they are on compared to other sides.

No surprise that they are being outclassed by Benfica though really. Everton don't have the technical players to compete in Europe, their side is ideal for the Premier League. They don't have the players, because they don't have the money. In addition, Everton have been missing quite a few players.

This Benfica side would be in the top two in a few of Champions League groups.

For £10m i'd expect a lot more out of Arteta, Cahill, Jagielka and Lescott.

bit harsh on moyes i think
his net spend is 34mill in 7 years i think
but hes got everton into europe and a fa cup final
as well as bringing through some good youngsters
