based on the fact we've got zlatan it'd have to be bale or we've got 2 passengers out of possession.

i said 'would' not 'could'. They'd be a much better side with bale too. Nothing against ronaldo. I love the guy but put him in the wales side instead of bale and it would be a lot of complaining and exasperation at his team mates. And a failed qualification campaign. In fact, I'd expect ronnie to have retired from international football years ago if he was welsh.

I'd take Bale since he is entering his peak years. Ronaldo is a striker now whereas Bale will rip up the wing and offer the dynamism in build up play which we'll need with Zlatan and Rooney in the middle

They didn't qualify for the last one. With Bale.

wales only scored 11 goals total in 10 qualifiers in a very weak group. 4 of those were against andorra.

hard to see ronaldo struggling to score goals against the likes of cyprus, andorra and the other shite in that group. only decent team was belguim.
