An embarrassing failure, second to top dogs city, or a desperate club trying buy success. Sanchez crying as he’s forced to go to united because they bid the most.

Let them say what they will, if he's a success on the pitch I'll be content. Well, provided it's us who sign him that is

Horse apples!

They £#%&!ed another £100m on the summer on full backs.. they've spent £300m or whatever it is in two seasons.

Now because they MIGHT not be paying a mere £30m on Sanchez - who won't be on United or City-esque wages at Arsenal - Its because of FFP?

Nah, not having that. I'd say they're probably more concerned he might upset the balance of wjat they already have. They wanted him in the summer, but having got to the position they have, he's become a luxury rather than a necessity. A good chance for them to pretend they are tightening the purse strings.

If he was crucial to them, they'd have him.

(And all this is on the assumption he doesn't go there. Which I think he will anyway)

A much more sensible fee. Would be delighted with that, tbf. What an improvement he'd make to the team instantaneously.
