Default Theo Walcott, cheeky bid?

I know it was just Reading, but last night was another example of how dangerous he is through the middle. Defenders know its a lost battle once he receives the ball in those positions.

Brainless? Maybe. But he is lightning quick, a composed finisher, young and English. Seems a no brainer to me given he'll be on a free transfer.

I am sure we could pick him up cheaply but pay about £20 million. Why not.

Very harsh. Strange how so many people agree with you. No idea why Walcott is so hated. He rarely gets credit.

Seems to have finally stopped being a nutter. Wasn't his final act in Marseille throwing chairs and desks around their main offices?

He's a 22 year old English forward, would improve us on the right(hes better than Valencia) and he would be an improvement on Welbeck upfront.

We'd be investing no real money into something with a lot of potential...

Blistering pace. There's no one in this Utd side that you'd fancy to leave the defenders trailing.

One a free transfer it's definitely worth it if we're losing Nani.

He's the ultimate flat track bully.

Watched him a lot against the poorer teams and he'll regularly tear them a new one. A brace here or there against the likes of Reading or Norwich or Wolves or Southampton. But against the bigger boys he looks like he's mentally fragile. Over-thinks things and doesn't seem to thrive under the pressure like big game players do e.g. Cantona, Henry, RVP, Joe Allen, Tevez et al.

He doesn't look like a Utd player. He looks like he's perfect for the team he currently plays for. I'd go as far as to say there are players currently not in Utd's first team who are significantly superior to Theo.

He seems like a nice lad though.
