Farewell then, Wazza - and thanks for everything.

I wouldn't be surprised to see you score against us and all

Would take him scoring a brace in a 2-2 draw if we didn't need the points...

Let's be honest a free transfer is a piss take, we should bill Moyes for giving him that contract.

He's shit, how can we expect someone to pay for him?

Batistuta was second top scorer in Serie A the previous season and still at the top of his career

Rooney started 15 league games last season (and was replaced in 9 of them)

So let's just recap on another astoundingly incompetent day for United.

1. We're paying a has been to go away, on a free and carrying on paying the useless £#%&!'s wages whilst he's not playing for us..

2. Chelsea have now surprise surprise, matched United's offer for Lukaku - the club he actually wants to go to.

Another marvellous day. Now, back to watching the Rugby..

Like an ex that used to be a demon in the sack before she got lazy. Finally united can give him the recognition he deserves. the best debut I ever saw was the fenerbache game. Ripped his collar because his neck was too big for the shirt, then proceeded to score a hat trick

Remember Thuram asking who Rooney was pre euros then getting absolutely blitzed. Thanks for the memories, would be lovely if you rediscovered some form next year

You would have to imagine he is only leaving on a free because his fee has been offset against whatever we are paying for Lukaku. If not its madness to let him go for nothing.

There's 350,000 reasons (a bloody week) we've had to let him go for nothing.
