I've got no idea what goes on inside Fergie's head.

Like I said I'd rather see Tweetie sold but 1 or 2 defenders will have to be moved on to make way for Pique and/or Evans. Next season will be a good opportunity to do that.

It's worth noting that - if reports are correct - Heinze very nearly joined Madrid last Summer but his wage demands £#%&!ed up any deal.

According to Guillem Balague () Pique has been assured that he will be United's third choice central defender next season. I'm not sure how accurate that is, but it seems certain that he's coming back. If that is the case, surely Silvestre would be moving on, but didn't he just get a new contract last summer?

Yes, new contract.

Hopefully it's a scenario similar to Pip. Bit of a golden handshake for services to Utd and a deal to ensure Utd recoup some sort of transfer fee as and when.

However the lad has been quoted recently that he's staying and Fergie has assured him he'll be here next season.

Silvestre is a decent defender who can play a couple of positions. you could get £3m for him, imo. nft.

There is a differenec between criticising players who are out of form and insisting we flog them after a few bad games

if he thinks that, he should £#%&! off along with everyone else that thinks that. although I see what you meant. better to play occasionally for united than to play all season for anyone else. right?

I doubt it has anything to do with how badly he's been playing. no, really.

As for the armband, I'd have to agree with Carrick. Heinze still has an awful lot of value abroad and I won't be surprised if he's used as part of a swap deal for someone.

Still, I'd rather it be Tweetie but who the £#%&! is going to want to buy a defender with a stupid head?
i'll have some of that

he's poor
