i've always thought nev tries to hard to find his niche as a united player. overboard with the 'top red' shit, overboard with the 'hard man' %@#$&!s too, plus he has image issues.

footballing wise he's been great.

Wonder if he'll get an offer to join the united coaching staff or whether someone will risk him as a manager. He's got most of the badges hasn't he ?

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has dropped a strong hint that Gary Neville will be at Old Trafford for another season at least.
The 35-year-old former England full-back is out of contract in the summer, leading to intense speculation as to his future.
There has been talk of retirement or a possible move to rejoin younger brother Phil at Everton, but United boss Ferguson believes Neville still has lots to offer at Old Trafford.
He told The People: "There is no decision on Gary's future yet because we haven't discussed it.
"There will come a time when we sit down with the (chief executive) David Gill but nothing has happened yet.

"Gary still has plenty to offer and I think we could probably get another year out of him. He is a great professional.
"His professionalism is borne out by the fact that he missed almost a year and a half of football and has come back.
"He's 35 and to do that at that age is quite incredible because when you are in your 30s and you get an injury for a long period like that it makes it very difficult to come back but he has managed it."
