We can afford to drop points in this tbh because southampton and arsenal are playing each other.

Interesting comments from Van Gaal during his presser regarding what he expects for this game.

He admitted that Stoke were a tough opponent at Old Trafford, but also clearly feels United are a far stronger team now, and playing better football with better control of games, than we were back then.

I think we'll go there with the intention of dominating possession from the start. Stoke have got a reputation of being cloggers, but Hughes has changed their style of play considerably. I'm confident, personally. Rooney to boss midfield.

I've been to a couple of Stoke games this season, just down the road from me, and Hughes hasn't changed their style much. Can't get my head around that pov, signing Bojan or rather having a player who can run with the ball doesn't really count. They were attempting to be at their cloggering bext vs Chelsea and failed miserably. Chelsea weren't even that good that night either.

I still think United will struggle. Mainly because Phil Jones and Evans play for United; and are likely to start.

They failed because Chelsea had Terry, Ivanovic, Matic, Cahill, Costa and Obi Mikel in their team, who more than stood up to Stokes bully boy tactics and dished out plenty in return.

Jones should be OK against fellow oafs tbf. It's tricky pacy players he dives in against and injures himself/them/gives away pens.

I can see another draw which I would take given the arse and saints fixture.

Difficult to beat and I'm not sure we're quite there at breaking sides down.

That said, we're very difficult to predict atm so £#%&! knows.
