This shaking hands before the final whistle is absolute bullshit isn't it

Why the £#%&! does he do it? All very odd. Some of his mannerisms make you want to run him over.

This is due to a complete loss of confidence in pretty much all our attacking players

We are still the better side in these games and should be winning them by the odd goal like we did under LvG at home when we'd nick a lot of wins from 1 or 2 clear chances

Personally I blame that something tells me song
Since that aired at Hull we've been absolute dogshit
Also we'd need De Gea to pull of a succession of incredible saves to keep us from losing or drawing games under Van Gaal....these days you barely know he's on the pitch..

It's a miracle we created £#%&! all and were so dull to watch then.

Which is better?
The one that creates the most chances. It wasn't the system or the way they setup that saw so many good chances missed this season. It was the finishing of the individual. No manager can be blamed for supposed good players missing so many good chances.

His wet dream is a scenario whereby he drills them so relentlessly that he barely has to open his mouth during the season.
That's training them to think for themselves? Sounds like training them to be programmed robots to me.

Some may view it that way. Indeed Bielsa - a Van Gaal disciple - famously said that if football were played by robots, he'd win everything.

But the approach very often yields the best from flair players, such as Martial last season. It's a misconception that it's overly restrictive.

This is becoming an overstated point tbh. Yeah a few draws in Autumn United missed a shedload. In recent months - and especially across the last month - we've just played poorly. That's the main reason we haven't been winning enough matches.

Though imperfect, I don't think the issue lies with the formation, team selection or overall quality of the players.

So many times, the door has been open for us to move up the table and we just haven't walked through it. The players have bottled it each time. Liverpool (H), Hull (H), Bournemouth (H), West Brom and Everton - bottled all of them.

When there are no excuses for us not to win, we don't perform (see also City at home and Chelsea away earlier in the season). The only exception was the Spurs game.

Mentally, the players are lacking the confidence and courage to take that next step.

It was usually 20-30 minutes a game, either at the start and petering out or after going behind.. then the breakthrough wouldn't come and the heads would drop and they'd run out of ideas and confidence and spend the rest of the time huffing and puffing...

Fortunately the significant outlay on attacking personnel in the summer fixed this issue which was obviously entirely down to the previous regime's management.

*sigh*

haven't you got any other questions?

little steps, though. start easy. we should be able to programme a robot to provide giggs's co-commentary, at least.
