It's definitely what Rooney would choose if koeman was stupid enough to want him and Everton stupid enough to pay 100k plus.

Nice move for him if it comes off. He'll probably get a lot of credit for accepting just £150k a week as well

The only way it happens is if United bung him an extra 100 grand a week on top of his contract at Everton. There's no way Rooney and Stretford will accept a pay "cut."

Yes very sad. All time leading goal scorer for Manchester United, a record that probably will never be beaten. Leading scorer for his country. Could potentially end the season with a medal in every club competition available domestically and in Europe and held in the highest regard by literally every player who's play with or against him. Will probably continue to be involved at the highest level until his mid 30's since being involved since he was sixteen years old and will retire at the customary age expected as one of most decorated footballers in the history of English football. Very sad ending indeed.
