Few signs of Utd looking for an alternative . Mou would appear to have presented Woodward with a very precise list, Lindelof, Lukaku/Morata, Dier/Matic and Perisic. Maybe hoped to add Griezeman before he re-signed.

Lindelof or Keane wasn't it. Keane was definitely the back-up choice.

I really want us to sign Perisic - i think he will do well for us.

We're not doing too badly tbf. 3 out of 4 acquired before the last two pre season games.

In a £#%&!ing ridiculously inflated market where nobody needs to sell.

There was plenty of talk of Keane towards the end of the season, but little sign of real interest, Linelof being secured so early killed that speculation. Clearly a back up plan, personally I doubt he(Keane) is as good as what Utd already have.

Perisic is good, but given the success of Gervinho, Cuadradro, Lamela, Salah in Italy I would be a little wary when it comes to him. He was very erratic during his spell at Dortmund and playing well on the wing in Italy is clearly not a guarantee of the same in England.

Watch him playing for Dortmund much between 2011-2013 did you pal? Still able to recollect his erratic-ness?

Impressive. Or bullshit. I'm not going to judge.

I watched him a little, Klopp's Dortmund team were a fun side to watch at the time, but it comes more from reports and others judgements. He has long had a reputation for inconsistency.

Should we pretend otherwise because Utd want to sign him?

Yes, and maybe another - if not a second - before the deadline.

Hope we don't.

Would much rather see Mkhitaryan and Martial get games on the wing.
