FC Twente chasing Man Utd winger Tosic

FC Twente coach Steve McClaren is chasing Manchester United winger Zoran Tosic.

Voetbal International says McClaren wants to take the Serbia international on-loan for the second-half of the season. The youngster has been limited to just Cup appearaces so far this season.

Tosic has already admitted he'd welcome a loan move in January in order to keep himself in the shop window for a place in Serbia's World Cup squad.

Yeah two points clear.

Tosic is another player that's really not been given his chance, from what i've seen of him he's a good player.

bagged another couple the other night. fergie obviously doesn't rate him. Obertan has gone straight into the first team.

can't understand why tbh. looks more than useful for the reserves, plays well for serbia. unless the rumour about homesickness is true, but even then surely a few games for the senior side would make him feel better than constantly playing for the reserves.

Yeh seen them, good close control and knows where the back of the net is.

He should be first choice for league cup, yet he'd rather play a striker out wide.

I know... how many has he scored for the stiffs? I saw a few mins here & there of him against NI recently, he's a spritely chap & although diminutive *ahem* he's pretty robust, bounced off a few challenges.

Can't be doing anything for him seeing Obertan just pitch up, straight in the side.

yeh i dont think its true, he cant play in cl anyway so thats why he wasnt on the bench last night.

6 months football in a decent league would do him the world of good. Hope it happens tbh, better than him stagnating in the reserves.

it was 5m rising to 17m after 3 appearances.
