Although he has already had a chance and chose Southampton as he was virtually guaranteed 1st team football. At least it shows that developing as a player is more important to him than being a bench warming multi millionaire.

Yes it was a genuine light hearted question, I have absolutely no idea what the Southampton bits about, I assumed it would be a dig about City. As somehow I am both a wum and city fan.

I was under the impression that a WUM was funny and clever. If I were s blue- neither of which have I achieved.
