I’d keep it simple and start with the team that finished the West Ham game.

big game for sure....would certainly be less stressful if we already had the points to advance especially with City coming on the weekend

Never ever going to be straight forward. I think both teams would take 0-0 after 70 minutes.

Fancy us to score but its how we cope under pressure at the back.

Heart says 1-1 head says 2-1 Leipzig.
Henderson for Dave and that would be what I’d go for

Risk playing Matic though... apparently if he’d come on at any point last week against PSG we’d have lost the game.

Probably would have been better to be in a position to rest players for a nothing game during a season where games come thick and fast, especially with the tough Christmas schedule about to start tbf.

They're shipping goals for fun. Go at them and we'll be sound.

If the worst happens, that non-performance in Turkey will be much more to blame than anything that took place last week.

When this virus is over, Leipzig is a mega place to visit for a weekend trip.

Amazing restaurant/bar.

Battle of Leipzig in 1813. One of the bestest wars in the 19th Century.

without question that is what basically did us in by not taking those 3 points

i think you are wanting the diamond again....Hmmmm

agreed though that we should play two up top for the counter and congest the middle of the pitch

we don't have to go all out to win this game...just defend well, be patient and hit them on the break because they know they HAVE to win in order to move on so they'll open things up at some point.

Got to be honest, that monument doesn’t look too amazing.

11 years ago tonight I was in Leipzig for a night before the Wolfsburg match that we won to qualify. A trip which featured a former Notts crew fredster (not of my party) singing a song about Rhys Jones being shot in the head. 1 nil reds.

I just think we have to be positive and go for it, no way on earth the game finishes 0-0.

Luke Shaw has travelled so could go 5 at the back like PSG ..

Wouldn't mind it, also makes sense if Greenwood and Rashford make it two up top.

I said last week we'd beat them. I've seen nothing to change that prediction.

1-3 win and into the knockouts we go.

In general play, I expect us to do ok and create chances. My concern is missing and conceding chances at key stages, similar to the PSG game.

We can’t keep giving teams head starts or letting them off the hook the way we have.

I’d hate for us to control the game, lose it in key moments and have ole stand there afterwards talking about fine margins. We used up that one last week. We need to be clinical and ruthless. If we are, we are more than capable of winning.

5 at the back seems the way to go imo

Axel in because Shaw has missed a few weeks maybe?

Matic, The Scottish Player and Bruno with Greenwood and Rashers up top I expect.

Unfortunately (for Ole) that's how knockout football works.

Through tonight and he's had a great start to the season. Go out and he has £#%&!ed it.

Sounds harsh but that's football.
