Italy v Republic of Ireland Group Euro '16, Wednesday, June 22 2000BST (Stade Pierre Mauroy)

Irish fans fixing a dent in someones's car

Nothing but a win will do Ireland so expect them to be naively picked off time and time again on the counter.

3-0 Italy

Put the word "chicken" before any of the Italian players' surnames and it sounds like something you'd get in a restaurant.

"Yeah, can I have the Chicken Chiellini please"

A pub I drive by a bit had a sign up "free shots for everyone in the bar anytime Shane Long scores" then changed it to "free shots for everyone in the bar anytime Ireland score" and now it's "free shots for everyone in the bar anytime Ireland or Italy score (including ogs)"

It's sad isn't it?!

Has all the potential to be the worst game of the tournament

The chicken buffon's off, would you like to try the chicken sirigu?

Me neither.

True

Went out for the Belgium game fully believing we had a chance of at least a point...

Italy will probably walk in 3

As long as the Irish fans are absolutely lovable, great craic and super friendly who cares about the result.

1-0 Ireland, Brady to score. 66/1 worth a fiver of anyone's money.

Tiocfaidh Olé, Olé, Olé.
