Default Blackpool FC

Cancelled their pre-season your of Spain as they've only 8 under contract... They let 27 players go in the summer.

How the £#%&! have the Oyston family made such a balls up given the money they got out of the premiership? Oh, hang on..,,,

If only we had a self-appointed Blackpool insider on here to tell us all about it.

They haven't made a balls up. They run it very sensibly and the club makes a profit, unlike most.

Yes but they only have 8 players... It's all good and well making a profit providing there are people who can play.

Up to a certain point. A football club not having any football players might be considered something of a liability.

I heard two more players walked out yesterday and they're down to six. Their chairman and his father are total @#%&!s/a convicted rapist/money grabbers.

"are the sponsorships all sorted"
"yes Owen, all done we're raking it in this year"
"and the stadium, have we sold out the ST's and the boxes?"
"oh yes, full capacity Mr Oyston, should be a cracking atmosphere"
"Excellent new, last things last. Have we got eleven players?"
"...."

You're missing the point. It's absolute genius releasing then all during the summer so you don't have to pay them when they aren't playing.

I expect they will have players when the season starts proper.
