Ronaldo just incredible.
Not getting a hat-trick will annoy him. And will only spur him on in the next game. He has lifted standards to where it should be.

our weak midfield will cost us this season.

Newcastle parked a bus and were time wasting dorm min 1. Get The Scottish Player into the team and get it some form and we can go places. Last year we would have struggled to break them down. Was impressed we weren’t banking on just being 2-1 up, went for the third and the fourth.

Just need The Scottish Player to find some fitness as a lot will rely on him IMO. Shaw did well for the assist but has been playing well below what we saw last season. Still 4-1 on Ronaldo day

Pogba, Beek, Martial and Lingard for our 4th goal. That must make so many posters on here cry. Add an excellent game from Matic into that.

just like the leeds game, we responded almost immediately to the equaliser and went on to swat our opponents aside as if it was nothing. in previous seasons those goals would have rattled us.

it's not just the squad that has improved, but the mentality is a lot stronger as well.

I agree with this. We have leaders and winners in our team/squad now, that can only help to develop the talented younger players.
