Football Danny Welbeck: Cheeky Cripple

Danny Welbeck is struggling to find a new club due to his 'wage demands of £100,000-per-week plus £5MILLION signing on fee & because he is a shit sicknote.

I've nothing against the lad, but I'm pleased that he can't find work demanding those rates. I wish him well finding work on a much more reasonable rate.

stick this in the fall from grace thread... christ

thing is, we've got a few in the current squad who could and would go that way if we released/sold them.....

we're like a tommy-bang-average incubator.

He’s on drugs. He needs to get himself into a mid-range club on a one year deal with a verbal guarantee of playing time if fit; and in order to do that he has to make it as low risk for them as possible. If he can turn in an injury free season and get among the goals he’ll get that deal and deservedly so, but now?...no mate, sorry.

A forward who has never scored more than 9 league goals in a season, despite playing for 2 of the biggest clubs in the country. Don't think there is ever a chance of him getting amongst the goals tbh

One of the few things LVG got right was binning him.

You’re probably right, and I don’t blame him for wanting to get as much wedge as possible, but sooner or later he either has to have faith in himself or not. Seems a bit of a red flag to ask a club to take all the risk while taking none yourself.

I like Welbeck; he was just a bit shit when push came to shove.

His performance vs Real Madrid summed him up. Did a great job taking Alonso out of the game with his energy and work rate but also fluffed two clear chances when the score was 0-0.

Who tries to chip a 6’ 4” goalkeeper from 5 yards away?

If he finds the right club, and with Messi and Ronaldo nearing their mid-30s, and Mbappe still learning his trade, this could be the season when Borsuk’s Ballon d’Or prediction comes to fruition.

There’s going to be a lot of egg on a lot of faces when the big man makes his triumphant return.

It’s Calvert-Lewin.

And no, he’s not.

You don’t half talk some shite. Stick to flogging free ring-dings.
